Last year, 2021, the former president of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Jacob Zuma got arrested for defying the constitutional court of Justice which instructed him to appear before the Zondo commission.

This was followed by civil unrest which started in KwaZulu-Natal province then erupted to other provinces, with shops being banned down and looted.

Former president of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Jacob Zuma didn't spend much time in prison before he got granted medical parole by Arthur Fraser.

Now for the first time since his release, the former president Jacob Zuma had broke his silence.

Former president Jacob Zuma tells SCA Fraser served public interest assessing riot threat when granting parole. Jacob Zuma defended the decision made by Arthur Fraser that it was the right call to made.
