Former Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene finally breaks his silence on State Capture report

There has been widespread debates based on the State Capture report that was recently released by Judge President Raymond Zondo.

Many South Africans are wary of the fact that the report will remain just a piece of paper without any action being taken against the perpetrators.

Many cabinet ministers who served during the state capture years have chosen to remain silent about the report.

Former Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene has finally broken his silence and spoken about the report.

You will remember that Nene was infamously fired in December 2015 after he blatantly refused to cooperate with the Gupta family. He also shrugged off other attempts by former president Jacob Zuma and former South African Airways (SAA) board chairperson Dudu Myeni.

Nene has stated that those who were inplicated in the State Capture report should face the consequences.

“I really look forward to more to see more revelations also. We must be brave enough in the country to face up to our challenges,” says Nene.
