Dr Zweli Mkhize is a South African legislator, doctor and politician. He resigned as a Minister of health in 2021, when he got appointed in 2019. When he was a minister of health, Zweli Mkhize was prominent in South Africa's response to the pandemic COVID-19.
It is rumoured and believed that Zwi Mkhize has allegedly accepted the call by traditional leader to run for the African National Congress presidency.
