The struggle is real for the ruling party and time for the ANC to campaign for votes is running out.
The African National Congress is seeing flames during these campaigning times. Last week a video of an angry community throwing stones at ANC members who were trying to gain entry for their door to door campaign was circulating on social media. The pressure to reach as many people as they can has piled up. This past weekend Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula has been trying to encourage his thousands of Twitter followers to vote for the ANC and as expected, people mocked him calling him and his fellow comrades
Today a man on Twitter a man compared 2 pictures that reminded people how desperate ANC comrades are when it’s time to vote but are nowhere to be seen after winning the elections. One picture dates back to when SA was under strict lockdown regulations where police were storming people’s houses looking for alcohol and the recent one shows a ANC member at someone’s yard drinking that very same alcohol. It is true when they say time lost can never be regained and it seems like it’s times up for the ruling party.
