Eastern cape villagers forced to carry coffin

The eastern cape province, is one of the poor provinces in this country, in terms of infrastructure and community service delivery. Residents are always protesting, week in and week out, because of poor services from their municipalities, roads and bridges are not in good condition at the province. It's summer time now and heavy rains and strong winds, continues to damage the infrastructure development in the province. Yesterday villagers of maxesibeni in mount ayliff in eastern cape, were fored to carry a coffin, for a very long distance, across the dangerous rope bridge. The other bridges, that was used by the cars, recently damaged by the heavey rains, in few weeks ago. Please note that, the south african weather services, warned the residents, about severe thunderstorms, expected this afternoon from 14h00 pm, more especially on the OR Tambo and Amathole region.
