Court Cancels Two Billion Brown Envelope Security Tender In Mpumalanga For These Reasons

The longer the African National Congress remains the south african ruling, the more corruption will prevail, despite the fact that many government officials especially those affiliated with the African National Congress has been exposed and the party is dying a slow death due to corrupt members, the other comrades continues to be on the looting spree as if nobody knows or suspicious of their corrupt motives. The south african manucipalities including the metropolitans are practically dysfunctional and couldn't serve the people as they are mandated to do,corruption has played a huge role in destabilizing many manucipalities around the country, people have been going from one position to another after they were found to have been engaged in some irregularities in their previous positions.Apparently, the court has cancelled two billion security tender that was due to be taken by 20 security companies for the next three years, the court found that the tender was irregularly awarded to the winners who are somehow connected to some of the politicians,it has been reported that the bidders who lost have approached the court earlier this year as they were not satisfied with how bidding went, the losers claims that the winners have been showering the MEC for security and safety Vusi Shongwe and his deputy Godfrey Ntombela in the province of Mpumalanga with the gifts that came with the sports bags, they went on to claim that one businessman who represents five companies that won the tender gave the MEC 2,5 million hard cash in sports bags which were filmed by the CCTV.The court had also ordered the implicated individuals to personally pay the legal fees to one of the complaints who hired a private legal team, the court is of the opinion that the implicated individuals committed this fraud in their own personal capacity,so the government shouldn't pay the legal fees for them, other complainants are reported to be filling for their legal fees to be paid by these government officials. The tendering system had paved a way for many corrupt businessmen and the arrogant government officials who are vested with the powers to reward the tenders.
