RET member spotted rubbing shoulders with EFF. Look at who it is

As long as freedom is not realised and there is poverty and inequality in SA, the Freedom Charter does not exist. This is according to EFF leader, Julius Malema who on Sunday addressed a large crowd at the party's Freedom Charter rally in Kliptown, Soweto, on Sunday. The Freedom Charter was officially adopted on Sunday, June 26 1955 at a gathering attended by about 3,000 people.

The suspended Secretary General of the ANC Ace Magashule was also spotted with the EFF leadership at the Walter Sisulu Square observing Freedom Charter Day. All is welcome to the EFF, SG couldnt find another dignified event for this ocassion. It shows how important Freedom Charter is to him. Magashule and Malema seems to be in each other's good books lately. Remember how Malema slammed the ANC's national executive committee (NEC) decision that leaders facing criminal charges step aside within 30 days or risk being suspended? This was after Magashule was suspended for corruption charges related to the much-publicised asbestos case during his tenure as Free State premier.

Just after last year's local government elections, Malema revealed that the party in KwaZulu-Natal municipalities will approach the ANC’s “RET forces” faction to vote with them. Malema has been suspiciously supporting a number of RET members lately. Getting into bed with the ANC RET faction is an opportune moment to “upset the situation” for the EFF, which has been voting with everyone but the ANC in all municipalities.

Meanwhile, the EFF is the only organisation that observed this historic day in the history of the liberation struggle. Malema said politically the country may be free, but freedom wouldn't be realised until there was economic freedom for all. To a sea of red he said, freedom equals jobs and work security and that one must have a job regardless of their qualifications. Speaking about education, Malema said, “The EFF loves them educated, the ANC loves them illiterate – that is why it is not giving you free education, but is giving you R350 because it wants to keep you ignorant.”
