Watch: "I'm Saying To You Ramaphosa You're A Disgrace" Rob Hersov Hits Out

Democratic Alliance supporter, Rob Hersov had very strong words against president Cyril Ramaphosa during their march against power cuts.

The billionaire scolded ANC president, Cyril Ramaphosa and said that he is a disgrace to the nation and to his family. He adds that the ANC leader must resign along with his cabinet ministers.

DA supporter Rob Hersov, has expressed that the ANC is to blame for load shedding because it is stealing away from the future of the country.

"I am saying to you Cyril Ramaphosa, you are a disgrace to your country, to your family. You should resign and so should your cabinet clowns, incompetent, criminals... get out of here," said Rob Hersov.

The opposition party argues that South Africa does not have an Eskom problem, but the problem is the African National Congress which is failing to address the issue of power cuts for years.

The street which leads to ANC's Luthuli House was closed off by the police. This was to ensure that the Democratic Alliance marchers could not clash with the ANC comrades who were already at their party's headquarters vowing to defend it.

Members of the Democratic Alliance were also seen holding placards with messages that were calling for energy minister, Gwede Mantashe to resign. They said Ramaphosa's cabinet ministers are incompetent, and they must all resign with him.

Social critics however argue that the Democratic Alliance are only marching now after the Eskom chief executive officer, André de Ruyter announced that he would be resigning in March after failing to turn things around at the power utility.

Critics said it is interesting that the DA decided to march against ANC, and not Cyril Ramaphosa as the president.

ANC comrade, Pule Mabe however condemned in strongest terms the march by Democratic Alliance to Luthuli House. He said their headquarters is a revolutionary house, and not a playing ground for other opposition parties.
