EFF Tshwane had different views over the commission decisions

The Political Party Funding Act needs to be amended to unsure that the IEC can audit parties. The EFF who are noticeably absent this morning are clearly spending far more money than they would be able to do without large donations, yet they fail to disclose a single one of these donations.

A person cannot register as a candidate without registering on the voter's roll. The independent electronical commission decision to reopen registration for those who would like to contest met with mixed reactions.

Chairperson Obakeng is disappointed, the was a case in ZKN where the NFP had international issues and failed to register candidates and the Electrical Court dismissed their application for extension. IEC is opening that window favour the ANC .The ConCourt ruling did not order for the commission to reopen the candidate registration. This is giving the ANC an advantage.

Of the 14 parties represented in the National Assembly, only the EFF failed to send a representative to the Independent Electoral Commission of SA's (IEC) ceremony where parties who have registered to contest the 2021 municipal elections pledged to abide by all rules and regulations the IEC has set out.

The IEC and leaders from 13 of the 14 political parties represented in the National Assembly signed an electoral code of conduct pledge at Nasrec in Johannesburg on Friday.

This parties must learn to work together rather than wasting much money on embarrassing each other. If all country parties can work together they can generate great improvements in the community and industries.
