Dr Zweli Mkhize Is Making An Incredible U-turn

Zweli Mkhize was an active Health minister always on our screens updating the nation on the deadly Coronavirus infections, up untill he fell from grace after his involvement with SIU digital vibes corruption. He has been out of the limelight for four months now, and it seems he did not take the suspension well, sources say he wants to contest with president Ramaphosa for presidency. It is a pity for Ramaphosa as he is facing two rivals now, Duduzane Zuma and now Zweli Mkhize

Mkhize was put on special leave since June after his scandal on the R150 million digital Vibes, is now vowing to fight for the position of ANC president when the party holds elective conference next year December. His Friends in KwaZulu-Natal confirm that the former minister in getting support in many provinces. According to sources Mkhize has had meetings with a lot of ANC people and he will definitely put his name up for the presidency.

This is not the first time Mkhize is eyeing the presidential seat, while he was the former premier of KZN and treasure- general of the party his name was among the candidates of the presidential position. Before we knew it Mkhize dropped at the last minute and was behind the president who came top, followed by Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma. It looks like some branches of KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape is behind him. Many of his friends say he is bitter for the way his enemies in the ANC longed for his removal as the health minister before his voluntary resignation to avoid shame and humiliation. The treatment by the president and many party official did not settle well with him.

His bidding for presidency is a way of seeking revenge and he is secretly campaigning. But when he was approached by Scrolla Africa he denied the claims. He defended himself and said he has no idea of what people are talking about and he refused to comment any more. They always say there is no smoke without fire, Mkhize was caught in the act and he is just denying to avoid publicity, we wish him well in his endeavor.
