Load shedding : South Africa is fast Becoming like Zimbabwe / Opinion

The recent state of incessant load shedding is putting the south African economy in jeopardy.Years back the electricity supply used to be so stable but now it's gone seriously awful , from bad to worse.

The importance of electricity can not be underestimated, power is needed for all industries and sectors. It is so sad to see that south Africa cannot generate enough power to supply it's people. It is a known fact that the genesis of load shedding began with heavy corruption and mismanagement of Eskom during President Jacob Zuma's administration.

The wide spread corruption and mismanagement of funds led to fewer power stations left operating to generate power. Another reason sited for load shedding is lack of qualified technicians to run the power stations.the People handling the affairs of Eskom know little or nothing about it.

The sad part of all this is that it's quite bad that even hospitals are affected by the loadshedding. Most of the hospital don't have stand by generators which makes it hard for patient on machine and filing and keeping records of patients.

In my opinion I think south Africa is fast becoming like Zimbabwe.the corruption is at the highest level and everything that was once working is no longer working or no longer existing. These are the exact things that made foreigners to start migrating from their home countries.

What's your take on this?
