Since the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) in the republic of South Africa declared that the local government elections will be held on the 1st of November 2021, political parties have been on the ground campaigning.
President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa in his capacity as the president of the African National Congress (ANC) had also embarked on local government elections, campaigning for his party to come out victorious on the 1st of November 2021.
It is unfortunate that, it wasn't an easy campaign for him. President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa got attacked several times whils campaigning by angry citizens.
President Ramaphosa attacked by Manguang residents during campaign after he angered them.
"YOU CALLED US DRUNKS" - RAMAPHOSA ANGERS MANGAUNG RESIDENTS WHILE CAMPAIGNING.
When he visited Tswane munipality, residents also attacked him. This is because of poor service delivery which his party delivered and that angered communities.
