Former president Jacob Zuma's lawful group has documented court papers for pass on to pursue the KwaZulu-Natal High Court's choice to excuse his uncommon supplication to have State advocate Billy Downer recused.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) affirmed the most recent advancement on Friday evening.
NPA representative Advocate Mthunzi Mhaga said: "The NPA affirms that Mr Zuma has documented application for pass on to pursue the judgment on 10 November 2021, we will go against the application at a date to be organized with the court."
On 26 October, the High Court decided that Zuma had neglected to demonstrate that Downer came up short on the "title" to arraign him.

Former president Jacob Zuma's debasement preliminary will continue on 11 April 2022. Judge Piet Koen, excused Zuma's exceptional supplication to have state examiner Billy Downer eliminated and requested that the preliminary continue.
