Elections are now close and everyone does whatever it takes to win a vote from people, Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema promised people around Limpopo that all local mines will be forced to bring infrastructure to the community.

Julius Malema was addressing Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) councilor candidates at Tshikota community Hall in Makhado, Vhembe district. Malema in his statement said if Economic Freedom Fighters win upcoming local government local elections in the Sekhukhune district at Limpopo, they will force mining companies to bring infrastructure to the community.

Malema explained his viewpoint about local mining companies that operate in Sekhukhune, most of the routes have potholes because of heavy trucks from mines. Street lights must be established together with water and clinics. Chemicals that are used in mines are very dangerous and at least they could do is bringing good health services to the community.

Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema emphasized him by telling local chiefs to give them authority to intervene in this matter. He repeated his words when he was addressing supporters at Apel sports Center at Ga Nkwana outside Jane Furse, Malema said it pains him so much seeing that most of the areas in Sekhukhune are surrounded by mines by still unemployed is high and there are no services, the area is still undeveloped.

Malema added his statement by saying, we were supposed to have top schools here in Sekhukhune district. The Sekhukhune college was supposed to be one of a top higher learning center in Limpopo and area deserve to have a university. The mineral we have bere was supposed to bring good things to the community, we are rich in minerals but nothing shows that. We must fight for what belongs to us, he concluded.
