Newest Picture of Zimbabwe and Congolese President at the SADC Summit Causes Stir on Social Media

Various leaders of African countries arrived in the Democratic Republic of Congo earlier on Tuesday ahead of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) 42nd Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and governments.

The two-day summit, which commenced today Wednesday 17th August, will be held under the theme: "Promoting industrialization through, agro-processing, mineral beneficiation, and regional value chains for inclusive and resilient economic growth".

Some SADC heads of State who have touched down Kinshasa include South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu, Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera and Namibian President Hage Geingob.

However, the latest picture of Zimbabwe's President Emmerson Mnangagwa and Congolese Prime Minister Felix Tshisekedi has continue to raise mixed reactions on social media.

The comments below are some of the comments gathered from President Mnangagwa's followers after he posted the picture and tagged it; "Africa is United".

Mdak: "Whilst you united please collect your people from South Africa before we evict them".

Kugadzirisa: "You doing what Smith was doing to blacks who opposed him, Remember you almost got a death penalty for fighting against injustice now you have a chance to practice what you fought against, you are doing worse than Smith and Mugabe, Stop political arrest and save Zimbabweans from Shame"

Craig Ncube: "Who exactly are you trying to convince Mr president they isolating you one by one and here you are trying to paint a rosey picture you can hug them even kiss them but over this side we know they sick of your unending situation"
