The popural saying that nobody is above the law has in numerous occasions being put to practice by the honest law enforcement officials. It doesn't matter the position of an individual in the society, all crimes should be equally condemned regardless of one's popularity. At the end of the day,we're all human beings with fundamental mistakes,it will be a capital mistake for the courts and the police to use the double standards when carrying out their duties.Everyone must account for his/her wrongdoings accordingly. The politicians are known to be the people who always try to manipulate the judicial systems and bypass the country's laws. The MEC for agriculture, rural development and environmental affairs and the head of elections in the province of Mpumalanga Mandla Msibi has handed himself over to the police this afternoon, the MEC is reported to have been involved in a shooting back in August 22nd in the popular shisanyama and car wash in the city of Mbombela. The suspect was accompanied by his legal team. The whole head of elections is systematically damaging his reputation by involving himself with such a serious crime, not to mention that he has a very difficult job ahead of him as the local government elections are to take place on the 1st of November this year.Mandla Msibi took the gentleman's decision by handing himself over to the police before the matter goes out of control. His wise decision would definitely boost his chances of getting a bail.Being involved in crime doesn't necessarily mean one is guilty, the court would have to prove him innocent or guilty.
