Over 250 000 Zimbabweans to Face Possible Deportation as their Special Permit Expire.

Many Immigrants from zimbabwe are currently living a life of uncertainty in South Africa following the expiration of their special dispensation permit which gave them the right to live and work in the country.

There's been calls from these Zimbabweans for the government of South Africa to renew their permit but it seems the government of South Africa is reluctant to do so.

On the other hand, local citizens are demanding that they government do not renew the permit for zimbabweans due to the pressure that accompanies the continuous stay of zimbabweans in the country.

Meanwhile, Mr Bongani Bingwa has stated that over 250 000 zimbabweans are facing possible deportation as the government of South Africa has refused to renew their Special dispensation permit. He further claimed that many of them don't have anywhere else to go and they have stayed long enough to be able to obtain Identity documents.

According to his statement on Twitter:

"Nearly 250 000 Zimbabweans are facing possible deportation as their special dispensation permits expire. Many have nowhere else to go and have been here long enough to qualify for ID’s. How spectacularly has this regime been messed up?"
