What is happening? The President is now the Chief of Côte d'Ivoire(Ivory Coast). See how.

Cyril <a class=Ramaphosa"/>

Our very own President Ramaphosa has been crowned a Chief in the Ivory Coast. Keep in mind that if you are a chief then you are royalty. Our Royalty(President Ramaphosa) has been in and out of the country is pushing for greater cooperation between South Africa and the countries he has visited.

Ramaphosa was honoured with a chieftaincy by governor of the Autonomous District of Abidjan, Robert Beugré Mambé in Ivory Coast.

Therefore from today onwards, this is how we might want to address him:

  1. President Chief Ramaphosa
  2. Chief President Cyril
  3. Chief Ramaphosa
  4. Your Highness
  5. Your Excellence
  6. Muhulwanwe wa Ivory

Cyril Ramaphosa

The Ivory Coast gave the President a warm welcome unlike other African countries that have closed off their borders to South Africa due to the discovery of the COVID-19 Omicron variant that was discovered in South Africa. Zimbabwe is one of the countries that has closed off its borders but there might be other reasons.
