A Zimbabwean woman who had been deported generated a significant uproar on social media after she told people that she was going back to her own country because she was not chased away and she will not be treated like an animal in South Africa. This is the color of South Africans questioning why she is even saying goodbye considering she was never invited in the very first place because she opted to come in illegally rather than changing her papers and arriving through the border post.
Many people in South Africa are perplexed as to how illegal immigrants from Zimbabwe are able to enter the country, as the South African police are tasked with removing illegal immigrants from the country before they even enter it. As a result, there has been an increase in the number of illegal immigrants from Zimbabwe entering South Africa. Because they are responsible for a significant amount of criminal activity in South Africa, the government and the Department of home Affairs ought to make an effort to collaborate in order to eliminate all foreign nationals.
