The situation surrounding the extension of Zimbabwe exemption permit is still an intense one and the issue is one of the most fragile topics to talk about in the South African space due to the manner in which it is being dealt with by concern citizens.
We all are aware that the Zimbabwe exemption permit was last renewed for its beneficiaries in 2018 in order to give them the opportunity to live and work in South Africa for a period of four years without government interference. However the permit clearly stated that it doesn't give straight access to other forms of Visa as it was just an initiative to help over 200,000 illegal immigrants from Zimbabwe to live and work in the country.
Meanwhile, a concern South African lady known as Ally Black on Twitter has admonished the members of Operation dudula to engage more in legal battles against Association of ZEP Holders and their legal representative, Barr Simba Chitando.
She clearly said that Simba Chitando has been allowed for too long to run the show in our own country, while adding that South Africans might wake up one day and discover that Zimbabwe exemption permit has been extended because the ANC government can be unpredictable. She called for a strict court proceedings against ZEP Holders before things actually gets out of hand.
According to Ally's exact statement on Twitter:
"Patriots I think it is time that we also use our courts to fight the battle. For far too long we have allowed this illegal immigrant Simba Chitando to run the show in our own country. We might wake up to find that ZEPs have been extended. Youcan't trust the ANC".
