No ActionSA: Is Herman Mashaba losing mojo to Patriotic Alliance when it comes to foreigners issue ?

It's turning out to be the case that Herman Mashaba and his ActionSA are struggling to stamp their mandates in the communities which they are governing.

In his election manifesto and throughout last year's local government elections, Herman Mashaba promise to rescue hijacked buildings, close spaza shops that are selling expired goods, and hunt down all illegal foreigners (the Nazi-style).

But without the explicit instructions from his masters like the old days in the DA, Herman Mashaba can do little in the political arena besides trashing migrants.

Those promises of ActionSA or now (NO ActionSA) are being implemented by the king of the colored people and the former Godfather of the underworld ex-convict Gayton McKenzie.

McKenzie visited the shops in Eldorado Park at the weekend after receiving a tip-off that they were allegedly selling expired goods. His members took off "expired" goods from spaza shops which he alleged it was being run by illegal foreigners.

He later went on Twitter to vent his frustration writing:

All Patriotic Alliance forces throughout the country are visiting all shops owned by illegal foreigners, our loyalties are with newborn babies that must eat this rubbish filled with worms

“Our campaign is only starting. We are intensifying because that’s what we promised our voters. “We have visited 442 shops so far. We will act until we succeed.” He added

Gayton McKenzie vs Somalians

More Somalian shopkeepers have died in criminal and xenophobic violence than any other group in South Africa. As such it is understandable when he later tweeted that a group of Somalian elders have requested a meeting with him to address his issues.

But Gayton McKenzie agrees to the meeting under one condition, They meet at the border to say goodbye. Perhaps Mashaba is right to lower down the temperature and find a legislative solution as well as allow law enforcement to do their job.
