JZ Vs State Prosecutor|| Who Will Emerge Victorious On The Much Awaited Judgement On Tuesday?

Everyone general public and media at large is all preparing to see who comes out victorious on Tuesday

A video of the former president was shown where he was saying he was worried by voters who wanted to boycott the elections. He went on to say that boycotting the elections is not a solution and he told the people that he is also not happy with some things but that will not stop him from voting. The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal is trying hard to put Zuma on board to help with the Election Campaign which is a struggle to get it started. His public endorsement is aimed at helping other provincial leaders to urge his supporters who are still angry about his recent arrest to go and vote. Leaders like Bathabile Dlamini and Ace Magashule are some of his friends that are not happy with the events happening.

Now Zuma's case about the arms deal is in the hands of Piet Koen to decide the way forward for the corruption trial for the former president and the arms deal company Thales. Zuma is expected back in the court on 26 October where a decision is expected to make on his request for the removal of prosecutor Advocate Billy Downer. He has accused Downer of misconduct and leaking sensitive information to the media. Msholozi made headlines last Thursday when he opened a case at the Pietermaritzburg police station, accusing Downer of giving away details about his medical report. He was old that the court will decide on his case this month on his application.

The department of Justice issued a statement confirming that the matter will go to court on Tuesday and it advised the media to follow proper procedures for obtaining permits. The case has been postponed many times and Zuma said he is targetted for political reasons. While President Zuma received bribes during the arms deal but he has since denied the allegations. He was arrested and just served barely two months of his 15-year sentence for contempt of court.

If the Judge dismisses Zuma's case that means Zuma must stand on the witness box, and the State will call upon witnesses and the case will begin. But if the Judge accepts he then he will be on the best side for the case to be dismissed permanently. The state has also stated that there were no allegations made by Zuma in the prosecution case that Downer was a corrupt prosecutor. With a criminal case on file for the prosecutor, this is yet another delaying tactic on the side of Zuma. By so doing he is ordering people to recuse themselves in the meantime costing the State a lot of money.
