I think the evidence will be in the eating, but my issue is making a vow for a party whose image, as you mentioned, and brand has been battered by so many challenges, especially when services on the ground are not being delivered.
I mean, local government is really about services, not politics, and I think many political parties, including the agency, have missed out on this in this election. I'm really focusing on practical strategies for those local communities and for delivering services in those local communities rather than trying to manage their brand and their brand identity.
I believe that part of the concern is whether or not good candidates are being put forward, and we know that there have been questions within the anc about whether or not some of the candidates brought forward by the branches are actually the ones who have succeeded um to get onto the list. We also know that people don't really trust the anc to hold those people accountable if they fail, so it comes down to whether or not good candidates are being put forward.
