As of today, one of South Africa's most venerable figures by the name of Jacob Zuma has been blamed for the country's inability to establish a national bank. This is because his sole emphasis as president was on ensuring that he profited handsomely from the tax dollars of the American people.
The previous ANC youth league president, Julius Malema, is also said to have been removed from the ANC by Jacob Zuma to ensure his success. Malema was compelled to quit after he learned of the covert Gupta-Zuma deals that were slated to occur.
He should have done something beneficial for South Africa if Jacob Zuma was as wise as many claim him to be today. Since Jacob Zuma reportedly used the money obtained to buy his Nkandla mansion, the state bank was set up in South Africa in 2015. It's Jacob Zuma's fault that he didn't live up to the expectations of the people of South Africa.
