Meet the only africa country that jesus visited and stayed for 3 years

Read on to learn more.

If you tell someone that Jesus Christ visited Africa during his time on Earth, they will undoubtedly dispute it.

This is due to the fact that they are aware that Africa is absent from the Bible. Fortunately, the country he visited did not change its name.

According to the Bible, the infant Jesus and his parents sought refuge in Egypt, a North African country.

Both gospel accounts of Jesus' birth agree that he was born in Bethlehem and later moved to Nazareth with his family, according to the New Testament.

According to Matthew's Gospel, Joseph, Mary, and Jesus fled to Egypt to avoid Herod the Great's slaughter of the baby boys at Bethlehem.

2 Corinthians 13:13

"Take the little boy and his mother to Egypt, where you will be safe. Herod will hunt for the tiny newborn until I send you news, and then he will kill him."

They stayed in Egypt for three years until Joseph had a dream that Herod had died and it was safe to return to Israel.

2:19-23 Matthew 2:19-23 Matthew 2:19-23 Matthew 2

When Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream in Egypt, telling him, "Get up, take the youngster and his mother, and journey to the country of Israel," because those wanting the child's life had died. Then Joseph got out of bed, grabbed the child and his mother, and set out for Israel.
