Zimbabwe has been ranked the 160th most corrupt country out of 180 total countries.
The corruption in Zimbabwe roots from many different things, however there are solutions to reduce the corruption in Zimbabwe.
Causes of corruption.
1. The economic situation.
Zimbabwe has been facing an economic crisis since 2008. The economic ciris was as a result of corruption and looting.
In 2008, Zimbabwe hit rock bottom, having been at the worst the country had ever been in.
Inflation caused a stir in the country, which let to people doing illegal activities in order to survive.
1. Hold people Accountable
The only solution to curbing corruption is by holding the people accountable and making them pay.
Often people know they can get away with corruption hence they continue taking part in corrupt activities.
The consequences must be made clear from the get go, and no person must be spared, even tip government officials should be held accountable.
