The hopes if African National Congress to register some of its candidates was on Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) bid for local government elections to be postponed, but now things are not looking good at all.
African National Congress failed to register some of its candidates to Municipalities due to technological glitches as they say but others are saying it's because of money.
Currently ANC is broke and it even asked members to donate some money so that they can even pay their employees.
If local government elections goes ahead, this simple means, ANC will give away freely some of Municipalities or wards they use to rule because they won't be represented.
The Constitutional Court of South Africa has ordered Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, to determine a date for local government polls between 27 October and 1 November 2021.
