There is more drama that is unfolding since we are heading to the elections and there are certain political parties that are being exposed.

There has been a lot of scrutiny following the leading party and it seems like they might be backfiring this time around.

Fikile Mbalula was interviewed by Dr JJ Tabane and there is a heated question that was asked and Mbalula failed dismally to answer.

There is a promise that president Cyril Ramaphosa made in 2019 during the elections that they will build 1 Million houses for the people living in Alexander.

JJ Tabane asked Fikile Mbalula yesterday live on TV that how many houses have they managed to build so far in Alexander.

Tabane also reminded Fikile Mbalula that it has been more than 2 years now since they made that promise to the people of Alexander.

Fikile Mbalula started answering and completely changed that statement made by the president and mentioned that they intended to only build 100 thousand houses in Alexander.

JJ Tabane further asked Fikile Mbalula how far are they with building those 100 thousand houses in Alexander and then the minister started stuttering and running away from the question.

Fikile Mbalula then tried to hide and mentioned that 2019 was just 2 years ago and that is when another fire started.

JJ Tabane further enquired that does building houses need or take more than 3 years?

Opinion:

Alexander is one of the communities where there are some struggles for people and it is very sad when such promises are made to them but not fulfilled.

Well, political parties operate by promising people a lot of things which some may be done and some may be completely ignored.
