The Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has on Monday surprised journalists and many South Africans during the EFF Presser which they held at their head quarters. Malema was updating the public on few issues which are currently affecting the country as a whole.
He was asked about when will parliament discuss the issue of the Zondo report about State Capture. Malema has alleged that the now Chief Justice Raymond Zondo had used the commission to advance factional battles of the ANC by taking sides.
According to Malema there is nothing exciting about the commission report. "We have no appetite at all to entertain Zondo Commission report where there are obvious matters of corruption which we have been ceased with. We will continue to pursue those matters without refferal to Zondo Commission." Malema said.
Zondo Commission was established to investigate possibilities of a state captured and Raymond Zondo was appointed by former president Jacob Zuma to preside over the process. The commission is reported to have cost a budget closer to a total of at least R20 million.
