Government officials are well known for their endless ways to enrich themselves. They are well known for their flashy lifestyles, expensive taste, luxury german cars, opulent houses, to name a few. Here in South Africa, there is even a term for male government officials who prey on young women due to their financial strength- they are called sugar daddies.
Well government employees are not a problem only here in South Africa. Reports have emerged that a government official in Australia has been caught after it was discovered that he had spent over half a million rands in "ladies of the night"
The said official was a CEO for a council in Australia and he had reportedly ranked up about R800 000 in prostitutes since the month of March. It is alleged that he tried to cover up the costs as administrative fees. He was released from his contract on September 13th, 2021. His disciplinary hearing will be starting soon.
