Home Affairs Department Were Stunned After Savoring This From Pietermaritzburg Residents

The city of Pietermaritzburg is being crowded by it's residents, as they strive to obtain their national identification certificate as quick as possible before it's deadline. The city is being occupied with both South African and foreigners. The throng was too much to the extent folk started indemnifying bribe in order to get to the head of the line. This was so disastrous, to the extent of making the department of Home Affairs so dumbfounded after seeing the way they were paying bribes to avoid long lines at the Pietermaritzburg office.

Paying bribes to get to the front of the queue happens at every single Home Affairs Office across South Africa, these officials know it because they pocket a percentage of the bribes. These recently happened in Cape Town some days ago. The government from the president to the last person on the ground is shocked except from the general public. Home affairs is the worst performing department.

What was the ANC thinking when they opened the borders, saying come first of November, let us fix our country. We can not go on like this. He definitely didn't meant his statement because a leader who is acting ruthless in him domain, can't expect to impact hope in his subjects.

These were some reactions gotten from this horrendous act.

”Why is this government always shocked. They must be living on another planet because no South African can be shocked by this. Its common knowledge everywhere I'm sorry to tell them. Its been like this since 1994' nation wide, they also know it no one is shocked here don't be fooled.”

“It’s not just Pietermaritzburg, it’s everywhere. All Home Affairs department and all stakeholders know this very well and they have the audacity to say they are shocked. Members of the public pays amaphara R50 to hold the que for them.” Tell me this is not true.“ “Is the Home Affairs department in South Africa so disconnected from the struggles of South Africans to get efficient service.”
