EFF Leader, Julius Malema's name is back in the spotlight. Several people cannot stop blaming Malema for Hillary Gardee's murder. Some are saying Hillary Gardee was allegrdly killed and raped by an illegal immigrants and Malemais one of the leaders advocating for an open border policy. The people are once again pointing fingers at Malema after a Nigerian man is now implicated in Hillary's murded. Malema made a mistake by making that statement. Now every time a foreign national is found on the wrong side of the law, he is the first to be blamed. I think we should let it rest now. Malema can't carry the sins of all foreigners!
A fifth suspect has been arrested in Mbombela in connection with Hillary Gardee's murder. The man in his 30s from Nigeria was linked through the cellphone and laptop of Hillary Gardee. He is charged with defeating the ends of justice.
Meanwhile, the bail application of two men accused of killing Hillary Gardee was on session in the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court in Mbombela. Before the commencement of the bail application, Philemon Lukhele and Mduduzi Gama requested the court to explain their charges in detail. The guesthouse security guard arrested in connection with Hillary Gardee’s kidnapping and murder said on Tuesday he had never met her. Testifying in his bail application at the Mbombela magistrate’s court, Albert Mduduzi Gama also said he was nowhere near the location where her abduction allegedly took place.
A fourth suspect was arrested last week in connection with Hillary Gardee’s murder. Gardee’s body was found near Mbombela days after she went missing in April. Three suspects linked to her murder have already appeared in court. Police say the man confessed to the murder. He was reportedly arrested in Gauteng.
On the other hand, Hillary Gardee’s murder has opened a can of worms. Her father is convinced that the Eswatini king was involved in her death; however, a government official from the country slammed the claims and has since been called out for his remarks. The issue has left South Africans mind-boggled, with many unsure what to believe.
