The EFF has been classified as an African political party instead of a South African party on the basis that EFF allegedly defends foreigners. Zimbabweans are the main target among foreigners who are in South Africa. A tweeter user posted a tweet making a point that EFF voters might be Zimbabweans who are studying in South Africa. "So EFF voters are Zimbabweans who are studying in SA."
This is how people reacted to this:
1."So you mean they are allowed to vote without IDs definitely they can’t vote with permits and visa or I’m confused I never heard of a country which allows foreigners to vote."
2."So the students in RSA are Zimbabwean, what are South African doing , drug dealers are Nigerian, general workers Mozambican, street vendors Somalians criminals Zimbabwean trucks drivers Swaziland mine workers Lesotho."
