Will the political killings ever stop? This is a question that has been asked for way too long and it seems to be the one question that get no answer. Over the past months, there has been more killings that are politically related than before.
There's one online news reporting that has been covering all this politically related killings that has been happening and that is OnlineNewzBible, it has been covering the killings that has been happening in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, with all this killings that has been happening, it there has been a report that another high-profile African National Congress ( ANC ) leader has lost his life.
The report from SABCNews journalist whose name is Nonkuleko Hlophe, African National Congress ( ANC ) has suffered an unexpected death of one their own in Durban ( Ethekwini ) municipality, who was a ward councilor of 103 by the name of Minenhle Mkhize.
The report says that Mkhize was gunned down and killed on Saturday night.
The precise place of his death continue to be unknown, although assumptions says that his death seems to be politically related and the people who killed him are his enemies from politics.
The victim was somewhere in his 30s, he was part of the youth league of eThekwini. But, the ANCYL has said their piece about how disgusted they are over his gun death.
After the elections of November 30 of local government that is when Mkhize was elected into council , and this means that him getting the position he got it was in expense of other political colleagues, which might be the reason he killed.
While , his fellow African National Congress ( ANC ) comrades in the province went quickly to visit Minenhle's home in Cliffdale, to console his family and those who loved him.
His death must be difficult for his loved ones but it is not a surprise at all looking at the modus operandi of ANC members in KwaZulu-Natal in particular, eThekwini.
Journalist Gred Arde's who is a journalist he has book called War Party, in which he explains the political dynamics in KZN this is for people who are keen to understand why the province has all this killings going on.
He says that, eThekwini unlike other religion, political leaders of African National Congress ( ANC ) in KWAZULU-NATAL do get involved in political issues as much as they should, but if there is any matter that they do not agree on as leaders, they resolve it in violence -in which they hire a very well assassin from a well known taxi industry in Kwamashu.
May the soul of Minenhle Mkhize Rest In Peace and his family find comfort in this tough times and know that God is with them.
