The former Minister of Finance landed himself in trouble in social media over a tweet which he thought it is just a fair and honest thought.
However, the former cabinet minister missed to check that with social media, especially Twitter, you can be dragged for it and tweeps will make you regret what you said.
It is understandable the view that Mboweni was trying to raise, however it met with lot of objections especially from some popular Twitter influences.
Mboweni's relationship status was dragged into his point by a certain twitter user who made it clear that Mboweni is not married, therefore he must not bother himself to discuss issues of the married people.
His initiation tweet, where he even posted a picture of an African woman, kneeling down with a bowl of water for her husband to wash his hands before eating, was met with lot of objections.
Mboweni took to Twitter and posted this picture with the caption: This must stop, ANCWL where are you?
Well some took to the comments section and slammed the Minister. Some user said that the minister is not married fist of all, he must leave these topics for the married people
Replying to @tito_mboweni
First of all you don't have a wife...These topics are for married people
They understand the meaning of this in marriage.
