JOHANNESBURG - Nelson Mandela Mayor Nqaba Bhanga on Monday said he didn't acknowledge a choice by Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa to ignore issues with the renaming of Port Elizabeth to Gqeberha.
Mthethwa's office said that new spots' names like Gqeberha were setting down deep roots.
Up until this point, there have been in excess of 65,000 issues with the leftover of the metro - yet Mthethwa said he had applied his brain and there was no retreat.
The clergyman said he felt that discussion measures were appropriately done and the name changes were in accordance with the nation's break from its provincial past.
