Nathi Mthethwa is a coward who is involved in factional battles of the ANC.

The Economic Freedom Fighters has staged a protest at Sports Minister Nathi Mthethwa's office on Thursday, 20 January. 

The EFF are demanding that stadiums be reopen for sporting activities as soon as possible.


EFF leader @Julius_S_Malema says the party will stage a protest at Sports Minister Nathi Mthethwa’s office next week Thursday.

“There’s a picket that will go to the department of sports, if there’re no results from the picket we’re going to picket at Safa & PSL."” - @Farpost.

Speaking through his political party’s official Twitter account, EFF’s Commander in Chief Julius Malema called Minister Mthethwa a coward. 

“MALEMA: Nathi Mthethwa is a coward who is involved in factional battles of the ANC.

Ramaphosa must give us an all rounder who will inspire confidence and understand the dynamics of Sports, Arts and Culture. #EFFSPortsArtsAndCulturePicket” - @EFFSouthAfrica. 

The EFF were not the only ones who marched to the Ministry offices as they were joined football supporters and concerned citizens. 

“The SA Football Players Union (Safpu) has thrown its weight behind the EFF’s march to sports minister Nathi Mthethwa’s offices in Pretoria on Thursday to call for the safe opening of sports stadiums within Covid-19 protocols.” - @timeslive. 

“National Football Supporters Association and the EFF are demanding that Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa to reopen sporting grounds for supporters to full capacity…#sabcnews” - @stimoroller.
