OPINION: Naledi Chirwa should be sued R5 million for insulting the president

It has been clear from on the word go that the EFF is the RET faction in disguise. Every time the EFF is always in support of what the RET factions are saying even though they are wrong. An insult is an insult whether it is politics or otherwise.

Just because people are in politics, we should not condone such acts of disrespect. EFF member of parliament has called president Cyril Ramaphosa a small boy and when people are saying that this is wrong, the EFF seems to be condoning it and they say that she is very brave to stand up to Ramaphosa as many have failed to do.

But the very same leader of the EFF was once called a cockroach by Kenny Kunene and he is now suing him. But year again this does not fit the narrative.

History does not have blank pages. Malema is suing Kenny Kunene a tune of R1 million just for being called a cockroach. Kunene called him a “cockroach” during an interview with eNCA’s Thulasizwe Simelane, just after local government elections in November of 2021. They always say that do not do unto others what you do not want to be done to you. The fact that Malema was not happy and felt disrespected by Kenny Kunene, he should not be condoning any kind of disrespect whether it is for his political opponent or anyone.

Maybe it is time that President Cyril Ramaphosa sue the EFF member of Parliament Naledi Chirwa and we know that the President will stand a much higher chance of winning the case. Ramaphosa should sue R5 million for the kind of disrespect he got from Naledi Chirwa. This will teach her a lesson that you do not insult elderly people like that no matter what differences you might have. And the fact that she is not a South Africa is what makes the matter even worse. She was welcomed to this country and now she behaves like she owns the country
