It is extremely disturbing to hear a leader condone recklessness and praising people who are doing things which affect others negatively. Indeed we are heading towards the election time and every political party leader is saying what it takes to gain votes, but it shouldn't be something which will cause a negative impact to our economy or society.
EFF leader Julius Malema has expressed his fondness for izinyoka-nyoka (people who connect electricity illegally), whom he regards as leaders who should not be arrested. People are extremely disheartened after hearing this because as it is we are facing an electricity crisis which is disturbing people's lifestyles. The electricity shortages are caused by such people for are selfish, they only care about themselves and they do not care what will happen to others. Such activities also have an impact on our future, if its not addressed while its early there's going to be a lot of damage.
