Once he starts, no one can stop him, today was one of those days where no one was spared from Fikile Mbalula’s sword of vengeance, once he pounced on you, nothing will stop him.
Sunday morning saw Mbalula launch a scathing attack on the Public Protector of the Republic of South Africa, Busisiwe Mkhwebane. Mbalula called the embattled Mkhwebane a “hired gun”. All this because Mkhwebane allegedly has secrets of most politicians and is ready to drop them one by one. While she may have her fair share of troubles since taking office after the departure of the much-loved Thuli Madonsela, Mkhwebane should be given as much support as she needs to hold those looking the government purse accountable.
But, according to Mbalula, this is not the case, she is the enemy and she must be “dealth”with.
As if the backlash he received from twitter users was not enough, Mbalula went on to attack “much-loved” ANC and MKMVA member Carl Neuhaus, whom he called a “well-known thug”. Mbalula’s tweet seems to have backfired as twitter users pointed out that he himself was no saint.
