Herman Mashaba takes on minister Thulas Nxesi after he said this about foreigners

The minister of employment and labor Thulas Nxesi has come under scrutiny when it comes to handling the issue of foreigners in this country. This comes after political parties have taken the law into their own hands going to shops and restaurants to check if they comply with the labor laws. This is the job that was supposed to be done by his department but we know that they are very incompetent. The only thing that they know how to do well is to take bribes. No one can believe that they have been addressing this issue since last year as he has said.

We know that EFF, PA, ActionSA, and IFP are the parties that are fighting for the employment of foreigners while there are many South Africans who do not have jobs.

The minister is saying that parties are stacking xenophobic sentiments towards foreigners. But it looks like the department is trying all means to protect the foreigners. There has been no such act of xenophobic attacks. The language by the minister is almost the same as those of the foreigners and they are trying to scare off South Africans, not to continue with their mission of ensuring that South Africans are prioritized for any opportunities.

South Africans are not violent at all as they just want what belongs to them that has been taken by the foreign national. South Africans are entitled to those job opportunities.

The leader of ActionSA did not take this lying down. He has responded to the minister and he says that maybe it is time that the minister looks at himself in the mirror before he can blame people for xenophobic attacks. If his department has focused on the job that they are being deployed to do, we would not be having any of these problems, to begin with. We are in this mess because of incompetent people who only take bribes.
