Africa politics

Jacob Zuma lives in harmony in Nkandla, but his neighbors conditions are heartbreaking. Pictures

Living conditions of South Africans in Nkandla are shocking. It is frustrating to realize that the neighbours of the former president of South Africa are living in one of the worst conditions. This proves again that political leaders are in power to misuse their power and benefit from the poor. Jacob Zuma cannot be living in a mansion that costs millions of rands, while people that stay close to him are suffering. Nkandla is a beautiful place, that is famously known, because of the presence of Jacob Zuma. ANC and other political parties are in a race campaigning for the next local elections, and the neighbours of Jacob Zuma have grabbed the attention of South Africans.

The fact that political parties and their leaders only care about poor citizens only when the elections are close is revealing itself. These neighbours of Jacob Zuma are only now shown to the public, due to election campaigns. If the elections were not approaching, this house could have been hidden at this moment. It is questionable how Jacob Zuma cope and manages to pass by these houses, when he knew he had the ability to change these situations for the better when he was still a president.

Such houses are not a safe place to stay in. At any moment they can collapse. There is no way people can have a peaceful sleep, especially during the time of storms and heavy rains. The living conditions of black South Africans needs to be upgraded, and things are not changing at all. Jacob Zuma has been attacked by South Africans, as campaigning exposed the unexpected in Nkandla. Things need to be done correctly, and maintain equality in South Africa.ImageImage

In cities and towns you'll find people living in shacks while their leaders live in mansions. HATING THE ZUMAS WON'T CHANGE THAT!” Debate continued on social media, as other protected Jacob Zuma, after seeing this house. While doing door to door today in Nkandla we came across this family of 08, living under terrible conditions. The ANCYL have committed to go all out and fundraise to build a conducive and a better home for this family. We will never rest while children of the rich eat better than us!”
