Topic: Minister Naledi Pandor changes quickly changes her mind.
The issue of South African government planning to give 50 million to Cuba is not seating well with South Africans who believes that South Africans need more of this money than Cuba so it cannot be donated.
Minister of international relations in the republic of South Africa yesterday said that, South Africa cannot turn a blind eye to the plight of Cuba while illegal blockades and United States sanctions strangle its economy.
Today, minister of International Relations and Cooperation Minister Naledi Pandor quickly changes her mind.
International relations and co-operation minister Naledi Pandor now has denied that the country ever planned to give R50m in cash to Cuba.
Naledi Pandor: “We plan to provide humanitarian aid to Cuba of food and medical supplies which will be purchased from SA companies and shipped to Cuba to support that nation in its suffering.”
