Mixed reactions as an article about Thuli Madonsela becoming South African President emerge

On its official Twitter account, News24 uploaded an article that talks about Thuli Madonsela for President. It would seem the article has somewhat prompted many South African people, particularly those who, to some considerable extent, are well acquainted with South African politics. The article has argued that most registered voters in South Africa are women. And it is about time, South Africa have a female President with a cabinet full of women.

It must be remembered since South Africa opted to become a fully fledged democratic state: there has never been a female president. 27 years into democracy, South African people are yet to have a female president.
