Cyril Ramaphosa's Wife Makes First Public Appearance in Soweto, Her Pics Leave Twitter Divided

The wife of president Cyril Ramaphosa hardly makes public appearances and when she does, it is probably during elections or state of the nation address.

The last time Dr Tshepo Motsepe made a public appearance was during the last opening of parliament. Dr Motsepe made an appearance again today alongside her husband, President Cyril Ramaphosa, when they went to vote in the Local Government Elections. They voted at a voting station in Chiawelo, Soweto.

Following the voting, president Ramaphosa posted on twitter his excitement. He said, "It really felt good to be able to cast my vote during this local government election. Voting is an affirmation of our constitutional democracy and as I voted of the many heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, fighting to ensure that the right to vote was extended to all of us."

Tshepo Motsepe is a South African physician and businesswoman. She is the First Lady of South Africa, as the wife of Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of South Africa. She is the older sister of Bridgette Radebe and her brother is Patrice Motsepe.
