Zuma's Nation Address

Former Jacob Zuma to address the nation following his last day of availing himself at Nkandla police station or Johannesburg Central Police station to serve his jail time. He has provided date and time for his national address.

Former president Jacob Zuma is going to address the nation with relating matters to his Constitutional Court sentencing and his days to avail himself at police station for his arrest.

Con Court has found Jacob Zuma guilty and therefore they have concluded by sentencing him for 15 months in prison for defying court rules because he refused to appear on State capture and failed to provide a proper reason for that.

Jacob Zuma has claimed that himself and Judge Zondo are friends and then he requested Zondo to recuse himself. Zondo denied the friendship allegations and therefore refused to recuse himself which led Jacob Zuma to not appearing at court when he was asked to come and give evidence.

He was sentenced to 15 months in prison and charged with contempt of court.

Zuma is going to address the nation today Sunday at the 4th of July at 18h00, the address will be taking place at Nkandla.

"President Jacob Zuma will address the Nation on Sunday, 4th July 2021 at 18h00 from the Auditorium in Nkandla, not in Durban as previously communicated. (apologies for inconvenience) Media is advised to arrange feed mechanisms so that there is adherence to lockdown regulation." said JGZuma Foundation.
