Just a reminder: This was the petrol price during president Zuma's administration. Check it now

Mzansi shows regrets for fighting former president Jacob Zuma while he was still a president.

This comes after the Central Energy Fund released the latest fuel price increases effective from Wednesday, 2 March.

Grades 93 and 95 petrol will increase by R1. 46 a liter. Wholesale Illuminating paraffin will increase by R1.21 a liter. The maximum retail price of Illuminating paraffin will increase by R1. 61 a liter. Diesel is also set to increase by between R1.44 and R1.48 a liter.

One of the South African members dropped a valid point about the former president Jacob Zuma. He said "Fuel was reasonable during Jacob Zuma's administration. They marched to remove him because this was too much for the petrol price. They said he was collapsing the country's economy. Now look at these fuel prices in our country, this is way too much," said Banele.
