
A warrant of arrest for the former president of Botswana, Ian Khama, has been issued.
Most of the issues surrounding the arrest from a power struggle between the former president and the current president of Botswana.
Currently the former president is expected to deliver weapons from his house to the state house however he refuses to do so and says that the state must come and collect the weapons from his house.
These weapons were purchased during the time that he was still the president of Botswana.
The former president Ian, has gone as far as accusing the current president of taking the country back as far as economic growth is concerned.
When the lawyers for the former president were questioned they said that they were not aware initially of the application of the warrant of arrest however they were on our way and would start working on it to find the way out.
