It has been reported by certain individuals on Twitter and some were witnesses of the shocking moments between the ordinary community members and members of the ruling party, African National Congress (ANC).
ANC Deputy President David Mabuza has left without a community engagement in Osizweni in Newcastle. This is after a scuffle erupted between the community members and the ANC members.
The incident took place with only seven days left to the local government elections which will be held on 1st November 2021. And just like other political parties, ANC is also on the ground campaigning to win this elections but the pressure is too much from unsatisfied community members.
It has been reported that Police had to be called on to bring peace and stability amongst the community members.
