There has not been a mutual understanding between black people and white people for the longest time and that is because there is still a lot that black people will have to achieve for them to get to that point.
When the conversation about land expropriation without compensation arises, it only makes sense for us to find ways to engage and point out how this has been going.
Now, it is not everyone who believes that land should be expropriated from white people. There is one man who has been against this and definitely against the Economic Freedom (EFF) and that is the United Independent Movement (UIM) leader Neil de Beer.
And it is no surprise that a lot of his ideas are different from those of the EFF, de Beer has been around for some time and he is actually one person who has made it clear how he feels about the EFF, particularly the party's leader Julius Malema.
One could say that he is just not in agreement with some aspects of the EFF's policy and it may seem like this includes the part about land expropriation without compensation.
The UIM leader made a video recently and posted it on social media, in the video, de Beer talks about how Malema does not have to take away, this was him, probably referring to white people, particularly white farmers.
He mentioned that there is enough land for black people to start their own thing and as he was taking the video, he was out in some open field somewhere.
He mentioned that the land there is where farming can be started and his view is that the EFF is not willing to do the work.
We know that the EFF is in support of black people who lost their land and had their land taken from them and they intend on making sure that the land is expropriated without compensation.
People reacted to what de Beer said in the video, there were those who did not agree with him and there were those who clearly agreed with what he said.
